Does anyone know of any good spots in MD that are mostly water-activity based? like a beach or something other then Ocean City? A place that would be nice to go to and stay in a hotel around mid may. Thanks!

We live here in KC and want to go on a vacation this summer. We would drive, so not too far. We have been to Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha and Silver Dollar City in Branson. What are some other good places? Thanks

My friend and I will arrive at SF international airport. We'll be living at ASTORIA HOTEL for 2 night 2days for we leaving/depart early on Sunday morning. So I'm planning to visit:

1. Golden Gate
2. Alcatraz Island
3. China Town
4. Nice & clean Shopping District? Recommendation?
5. Is Zig-Zag street somewhere near our hotel?

and if there is enough time & money, we would love to travel to Sonoma Valley!!

So my question is since we don't know our way around SF would it be time consuming to travel by BUSES?
We don't know where to get those bus pass either!

OR would it be cheaper to travel by rented CAR? like $12 a day. However, parking ticket would be greater?
But if we have a car we can/maybe drive ourself to Sonoma Valley in time?

What would be the next inventions that humans should do? If your body is dying wud u invent a machine dat wud transfer ur life to another body? Mind control to control people?Teleport technology?Spaceships? Create a secret organization? And what if der is a supernova?

I live in Canada and would like to travel to a nice beach resort at the end of July. Anywhere between Canada, the US or down south is a possibility….but I'm afraid of hurricane season and possibly getting rained out for our short 5 day trip - a much needed getaway to just lie on the beach and have a pina colada - some entertainment at night would be fun and it would have to be a decent place - clean and friendly. Anyone recommend a spot?? Thanks bunches.

Im not at home, im in Michigan.

I have to sleep on a mattress on the floor because there are a bunch of people staying in the house with us, its in the basement (which is just another section of the house, not a typical basement). The night before last, i put my phone with 3/4 bars of battery on the ground next to me, and i noticed it has 0 service on the ground. I wake up, and my battery is completely dead. I did the same thing last night, except i charged it an hour prior to putting it on the ground, i went to sleep with full 4/4 bars of battery. I wake up, and again the phone is dead.

Why does my battery die so fast overnight here? Could it be that i keep it on the floor (carpet) which is pretty cold? Or because my cell phone uses some weird service here, and on the floor it had zero service? It just dies overnight, and at my house it could stay on for days. Why does this happen?
